Activists in Cyprus collect 2,890 signatures in one day

The Signature Commission of the Kurdish People's Assembly of Cyprus, which has started a feverish work in Cyprus since the beginning of the campaign to delist the PKK, collected 2,890 signatures on Sunday.

The petition campaign launched to remove the PKK from the European Union list of terrorist organizations continued on Sunday in three cities in Cyprus.

Continuing their work in line with the planning determined by the commission, activists opened signature stands in Limassol, Larnaca and Paphos on Sunday.

A large crowd visited the stands and signed the petition.

On Sunday evening, the spokesperson of the Signature Commission, Kamil Akalın, proudly announced that they had collected 2,890 signatures and added that they will continue.
