Activists in Europe protest political coup leading to MPs arrest

Protests against the political coup in the Turkish parliament were organised in many European cities.

Kurds and their friends protested the arrest of HDP deputies Leyla Güven and Musa Farisoğulları and CHP deputy Enis Berberoğlu in many European cities.

HELSINKI

The AKP-MHP Parliamentary coup was protested in Helsinki.

In the action organized by the NCDK and Women's Initiative activists opened a banner saying "You cannot touch our will."

In the speeches activists pointed out that the AKP-MHP government increased its attacks on Kurds and opposition during the coronavirus process.

ZURICH

The action, organized by the IDD (Swiss Democratic Force Association) in Zurich, Switzerland, was held in Rathausbrücke.

People gathered in Rathausbrücke chanting slogans like "Terrorists Turkey", "Murderer Erdogan".

Throughout the march, women activists protested banging pots, pans and stopping at the important centres in the city.

BERN

A protest was held at the central railway station in Bern.

Activists condemned the racist attacks in the US and against Kurds in Turkey.

STUTTGART

The attacks on Kurds carried out by the Turkish state were also protested in Stuttgart.

DTKM, AGIF, SKB, YDG, PARTIZAN, New Women, Atik and TJK-E members and activists attended the action held in Konigstrasse.
