As the world prepare to salute the resistance of Kobanê on its 6th anniversary, an action was held in Freiburg on Saturday night.

Kurds and Germans attended the demonstration which, despite the fascists' provocation attempt, ended with the reading of a statement.

World Kobanê Day celebrated in Rome

In Italy, too, activists demonstrated for Kobanê in Rome. 

An action was organised in Piazza Mirti. Activists also demanded freedom for Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan within the framework of the initiative "End isolation, fascism, occupation; Time for freedom".

Speaking on behalf of RETE Kurdistan in the action, Vincenzo Miliucci stated that the Kobanê resistance is "a great epic of resistance against the fascist and reactionary ISIS mentality."
