A march was held in Paris's Villiers le Bel suburb to demand freedom for Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan.

Kurds who came together as part of the "Werin Cenga Azadiyê" initiative organized by TCŞ (Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger) and TekoJIN (Jinên Ciwan ên Têkoşer) carried photos with the pictures of Öcalan and banners reading "Freedom to Leader Apo [Abdullah Öcalan]".

"We will continue our actions uninterruptedly to ensure the physical freedom of Leader Apo," said the activists, adding: "We will expand our struggle everywhere and shout the physical freedom of Leader Öcalan with greater actions."
