A group of Kurds arrested by the KDP and protesting the practices against Idris Selim Mihemed, a member of Tevgera Azadi, whose health condition is deteriorating, submitted a file to Amnesty London.
Kurds gathered in front of Amnesty International building in London to protest against the condition in which Tevgera Azadi member Idris Selim Mihemed is being held after been detained by KDP Public Security Forces in Southern Kurdistan on 8 May 2019.
Stating that Selim Mihemed was arrested by the KDP because of his thoughts and political ideas, the group of activists added that the KDP is creating a dictatorial system in Kurdistan.
"Selim Mihemed health is getting worse", said the activists chanting slogans asking to release Selim.
Following the protest, Amnesty International officials were presented with a file on Idris Selim's health and the pressures he is suffering in prison.
Amnesty officials said they would make a statement after the necessary investigation.
