Activists protested Amnesty International in Catalonia

Azadi Plataforma protested the decision by Amnesty International in London to call the police to force out of its premised Kurdish activists.

Azadi Plataforma, the Catalan Solidarity Platform with Kurdistan promoted a demonstration to denounce Amnesty International which in London decided to call the police to force out of its premises peaceful Kurdish activists, included hunger striker Nahide Zengin.

Kurdish activists had occupied Amnesty International's premises in order to break the silence on the hunger strike resistance demanding the end of the isolation against Abdullah Ocalan.

Azadi Platform issued a statement in Catalan titled "Amnesty International: Silence and Manipulation" in which it condemned the decision by Amnesty International and reminded that the Kurds are actually those who defeated DAESH.
