Thousands of people have marched in Afrin in protest at the attacks of ISIS gangs on Kobanê.

The march was organised by the Movement of Revolutionary Youths in order to protest the attacks by ISIS gangs on Kobanê and the other regions of Rojava. Thousands of people, including YPG fighters, attended the march.

The march, starting at the Newroz crossroads, continued to Azadi (Freedom) Square in the centre of the town.

After a one minute-silence in Azadi Square, the president of the Afrin Government, Nevi Mustafa, made a speech. Mustafa said that the government of Afrin was ready to defend Kobanê.

A member of the board of the movement of revolutionary youths, Xerzan Zagros, also stated that they are ready to defend Kobanê with the YPG-YPJ fighters against the ISIS gangs.

The co-president of TEV-DEM, Ahmed Sileman, greeted the Kobanê Resistance and said that victory will be gained by the YPG.

The march ended with slogans greeting the Kobane Resistance of the YPG and the Rojava Revolution.
