Following the explosion reported during the passage of a police vehicle in Nazýmiye/Dersim two unnamed police officers have reported to have died. Troop units have been deployed to the region by military helicopters.

A second explosion happened today at Police School Crossroad in Baðlar district of Diyarbakýr at 11.00 a.m. While there are no reports of casualties, two vehicles were damaged.

Crime scene investigation teams from Diyarbakýr Provincial Security Directorate have cordoned off the area and have collected evidences of the explosive substance. An eyewitness to the explosion was taken to police department to give a statement.
