Agri co-mayor sentenced to eight years in prison
A Turkish court sentenced Agri co-mayor Mukaddes Kubilay to 8 years and 6 months in prison for “being a member of a terrorist organization” and “making terrorist propaganda”.
A Turkish court sentenced Agri co-mayor Mukaddes Kubilay to 8 years and 6 months in prison for “being a member of a terrorist organization” and “making terrorist propaganda”.
Kubilay, who is imprisoned in Sincan prison in Ankara, refused to attend the court session via closed-circuit camera system. Agri Criminal Court gave the decision despite Kubilay’s absence.
The panel of judges sentenced Kubilay to 7 years and 6 months in prison for “being a member of a terrorist organization” and to 1 year 15 days prison sentence for “making terrorist propaganda”.
