AKP deputies attack HDP MPs in parliament

HDP Şırnak MP Ferhat Encü was attacked by AKP MPs as he wanted to give a speech in the plenary session in the parliament revealing AKP’s crimes and pointing out the ongoing state terror in North Kurdistan.

HDP Şırnak MP Ferhat Encü was giving a speech pointing out the AKP’s crimes in North Kurdistan in the parliament’s plenary session yesterday. His speech was constantly interrupted by the AKP MPs, and the verbal abuse turned into a physical attack on Encü and other HDP MPs present in the session.

As HDP deputies were punched during the attack, an AKP MP was seen rushing to HDP seats and shouting “Terrorists, get out”.

AKP fascists almost tried to lynch HDP MPs, with the haste of being guilty. HDP MPs Ferhat Encü, Ayhan Bilgen and Çağlar Demirel were slightly injured in the brawl that followed. HDP MPs Hüda Kaya and Burcu Özkan Çelik were also assaulted.

HDP Şırnak MP Ferhat Encü made the following statement via Twitter:

“They attempted a lynch on my person because I cited the civilians massacred by the state. They say ‘The security forces don’t massacre’. Is that so? If you had any dignity, you wouldn’t say that, for I am a man whose 34 relatives were massacred by the security forces. How is that for not massacring? The AKP MPs who attempted to lynch me, may I fall even lower than you if I fear you for a minute.”
