AKP’s appeals on election results approved, HDP’s rejected
The YSK approved AKP’s appeals objecting to the election results throughout the country, while rejecting HDP’s objections in Gevas, Van.
All appeals the AKP filed in municipalities they lost against the HDP were approved to be assessed by the Supreme Board of Elections (YSK), while HDP’s appeal to object in Gevas district of Van was outright rejected.
The Gevas District Board of Elections rejected HDP’s appeal to object on the grounds that the appeal petition didn’t state enough inadmissible ballots to change the outcome.
All 6 members of the District Board of Elections voted to reject the appeal.
