AKP supporters carry out provocation in Rotterdam

Groups organized by the AKP carried out a provocation in Rotterdam after Turkish ministers propagating for the dictatorship were not allowed to enter the Netherlands.

Clashes broke out between police and AKP supporters that last night gathered in Rotterdam's Westlaak Avenue where the Turkish Consulate is located, and the mob attacked police forces with pavement stones.

Dutch police were forced to use pressurized water against the aggressive AKP mob, and mounted police took precautions to prevent further clashes.

According to De Telegraff journalist Marieke van Essen, Dutch citizens living in this area objected to the aggression of the pro-AKP group. Van Essen reported that some Dutch people threw objects at the AKP group during their objection.

Van Essen stated that the pro-AKP and other fascist groups are patrolling the streets with sticks in their hands.
