The program for 1 May, Workers’ Day in Amed, was announced at a press conference held at the Chamber of Architects.

Speaking at the meeting, Amed Labor and Democracy Platform co-spokesperson Nujiyan Yıldırım announced that 1 May will be celebrated in Dağkapı Square.

Yıldırım invited the people to attend the demonstration against poverty, exploitation, war, eco-crime and femicide.

Yıldırım said: "Let's once again show the spirit of solidarity of Workers’ Day. We will in the squares against women's labor and body exploitation and oppression. We will shout Jin Jiyan Azadi."
