Autonomous Administration delegation in Damascus for a meeting with government officials

A delegation from the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (DAANES) traveled to Damascus today to meet with government officials. The delegation includes Foza Yûsif, Abdulhamid El Mihbaş, Ahmed Yûsif, Senharib Bersûm, and Sozdar Hecî. Meryem İbrahim and Yaser Silêman are acting as spokespersons for the delegation.
The visit follows three meetings held in North and East Syria, the first on March 19, the second on April 12, and the last one last week, as part of the parties' efforts to strengthen dialogue and ensure stability in the region by implementing the provisions of the March 10 agreement.
The agreement signed between Mazlum Abdi and Ahmed al-Sharaa on March 10, 2025, provides for a nationwide ceasefire and the integration of SDF forces into the Syrian army. The main points of the agreement are as follows:
* Recognition of the Kurdish community as an integral part of the Syrian state
* Guarantee of citizenship and constitutional rights
* Transfer of oil and natural gas fields and border crossings to state control
* Ceasefire throughout Syrian territory
* Guarantee of the return of displaced Syrians
