Autonomous Administration delegation meets with head of government of Catalonia

A delegation from the Autonomous Administration of Northern and Eastern Syria has met Pere Aragones, head of the government of Catalonia.

A delegation from the Autonomous Administration of Northern and Eastern Syria is in Catalonia this week to hold talks with political representatives. 

Pere Aragones, head of the Catalan government, noted that Catalonia will continue to develop its relations with the Autonomous Administration and that they are ready to do their part to bring Rojava to international platforms.

The Autonomous Administration delegation met with Catalonia Parliament Speaker Anna Ira Solla and other parliamentary officials in Barcelona on 4 December. The delegation, consisting of Bedran Bedran Çiya Kurd, co-chair of the Autonomous Administration's Foreign Relations Department, Ebdulkerîm Omer, one of the representatives of the European Autonomous Administration, and Nezîre Gewriye, co-chair of the Assyrian Unity Party, pointed out that the Autonomous Administration was recognized by the Catalonian Parliament, and that this step was a sign of the depth of friendly relations between the two entities.

Touching on Catalonia's support to the Autonomous Administration in political, humanitarian, economic and development issues, Pere Aragones pointed out the Autonomous Administration's fight against ISIS terrorism and said that they will continue to develop relations between both parties, be the voice of the local people and do their part to bring Rojava to international platforms.
