Daily Kurdish Newspaper Azadiya Welat worker Ergin Çaðlar has been detained in Mersin while delivering the newspaper in Yenimahalle Neighborhood today. While the reason for his detention is till unknown, Çaðlar has been taken to Mersin Security Directorate and newspapers have been confiscated by police.

Azadiya Welat workers Newal Aydýn and M. Emin Oruç. were also taken into custody with the house raids carried out in Adana, neighbor city of Mersin, at the night of September 7.
