This week was the turn of the bad weather. In what has become a rather disturbing refrain, the authorities in Bursa have once again denied lawyers for Kurdish leader Abdullah Öcalan permission to visit their client. This time the reason given was the bad weather.
Öcalan last met his lawyers on 27 July. He was able to meet in brother on 13 October. In that meeting the Kurdish leader underlined that it was the government which decided to end the talks going on in Imralý (the prison-island where Öcalan is held since 1999), not him.
