Barzani meets HDP delegation in Ankara

Masoud Barzani, President of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), who is in Turkish capital Ankara for a series of talks since yesterday, has met a delegation from the HDP (Peoples' Democratic Party).

Masoud Barzani, President of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), who is in Turkish capital Ankara for a series of talks since yesterday, has met a delegation from the HDP (Peoples' Democratic Party).

The meeting will witness a discussion of a resolution to the Kurdish question, democratic resolution process in Turkey and relations among Kurds.

Barzani met Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu yesterday after he firstly visited Turkish Intelligence Service (MIT) Undersecretary Hakan Fidan in the MIT building.

The HDP delegation attending the meeting involves HDP co-chair Figen Yüksekdağ, deputies Osman Baydemir, Dengir Mir Mehmet Fırat and Leyla Zana, HDP Deputy co-chair in charge of Foreign Relations Nazmi Gür and Mardin co-mayor Ahmet Türk.

Barzani is being accompanied by Kurdistan Federal Government Spokesperson Sefin Dizai, Presidency Council Chairperson Fuad Hüseyin and KDP Representative in Ankara, Sefin Dizai.
