In an interview to ANF, Kurdish Communities Union (KCK) Executive Council member Cemil Bayýk remarked that the conflict between Turkey and Iran would deepen more and more in the coming process.
Relations between Iran and Turkey have entered a process of tension from now on, underlined Bayýk and said that; “The conflict between two countries will become intensified on Iraq in particular and Turkey will be the base of the attack against Iran which will therefore come up against Turkey more intensely in the coming process.”
The real reason for Turkey’s conflict with Syria or Iran isn’t related with the issues of democracy and human rights, noted Bayýk and stated that Turkey’s real purpose was to target the Kurdish Liberation Movement through its relations with Iran and Syria. Bayýk added the followings;
“Turkey is now trying to achieve this purpose by acting as the regional subcontractor of the U.S. The conflict between Iran and Turkey will therefore become deeper and mainly intensify on Iraq. Despite the nondenominational statements Turkey has made, Ahmet Davutoðlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs, has most recently confessed in an interview that they conflicted with Maliki because of Turkey’s close relations with Sunnis. Turkey has thusly revealed that it is a party to the power conflict in Iraq.”
