Anvers Mayor Bart de Wever cancelled the program MHP had planned for Friday. De Wever issued a statement via his spokesperson and said: “If there is a serious possibility of a risk to public order and safety, a meeting can be cancelled even if it’s on private property.”

The spokesperson also said a written statement will be issued to the organizers on the cancellation of the meeting and the ban.
