Between 800 and 1400 people will be jailed

Speaking on Habertürk yesterday, journalist Fatih Altaylý has added some new details to the alleged plan to crash Kurdish political movement by Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan. According to Altaylý, Turkey will carry out a joint operation with the Kurdistan Federal Region and the USA.

Writing on his colomn today, Altaylý said that between 800 and 1400 people will be arrested. Altaylý said there is a list of names to be arrested, among them also the members, administrators and the spokespersons of the Democratic Society Congress (DTK).

Remarking that the list also includes names of BDP (Peace and Democracy Party) members and some deputies who were elected at June 12 elections but haven't taken the parliamentary oath yet.

On the other hand, it is also said that the government will launch a very heavy 'security operation' which will most probably be supported by the USA and the Kurdish government in Northern Iraq.
