HDP Spokesperson Ayhan Bilgen spoke during the party’s central executive council meeting in Ankara and announced that HDP Co-president Selahattin Demirtaş had a heart spasm in prison.

Bilgen said "Demirtaş had a heary spasm in prison on Saturday. We are deeply concerned over the health of our Co-president.

Demirtaş is being deprived of health services despite the medical reports that show that he had heart problems in the past.

We will apply to the Medical Association and demand that independent doctors examine Demirtaş in an appropriate prison."
