An explosion occurred in İstanbul’s Beyazıt district during the passing of a riot police bus Tuesday morning.

Reports from the ground say a parked bus was targeted during the shift change of the riot police and there was a second explosion.

Gunfire was heard following the blast.

There are an uncertain number of casualties and several ambulances have been seen dispatched to the area.

The blast caused widespread material damages.
