Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) have been bombing the Kurdish Federal Region areas of Kandil. Warplanes have been taken off from Diyarbakýr military base directed towards the areas of Kortek and Zergele villages to bomb what they said are PKK and PJAK targets.

The bombing of these areas in the Kurdish Federal Region have been going on since 17 August with the loss of several civilians.
