Child wounded by police in Cizre

Activists of the Movement of Patriot and Revolutionary Young Women (YDGK-H) staged a protest demo in Cizre district of Şırnak to protest against the ongoing attacks of the ISIS on Kobanê town of Rojava, West Kurdistan, and the support the Turkish state continues providing to the gang groups.

Thousands gathered on the Mezbahane Street in Cudi neighborhood late yesterday evening and started a march to the Nusaybin district, carrying flags of the PKK (Kurdistan Worker's Party) and KCK (Kurdistan Communities Union) and chanting slogans praising the Kobanê resistance against barbarian ISIS gangs.

Police attacked the mass as they continued the march, leading up to clashes with the demonstrators who responded to the brutal attack, because of which many children end elders felt faint, with stones and fireworks.

A 9-year-old child was injured after being hit in the head by a tear gas canister fired by police. He was rushed to Cizre state hospital where he was taken under treatment.
