In a written statement, the Children of Fire Initiative stated that they would target "fascists everywhere" and claimed responsibility for the burning of several factories and vehicles.

According to the statement, a furniture factory and two trucks, two trailers and a forklift machine belonging to the factory were burned in Düzce, north-western Turkey on May 15.

On the same day, a shoe factory belonging to an “AKP supporter” in Antep province, a bus belonging to Istanbul Transportation Inc. in Istanbul and a minibus belonging to a far-right person in Bolu province were burned. Dozens of plastic pipes in the 1st Organized Industrial Zone in the Arifiye district of Sakarya province were set on fire on May 14.
