In a statement to press members, Republican People’s Party (CHP) leader Kemal Kýlýçdaroðlu commented the Turkish General Staff statement on Roboski intelligence and called on Prime Minister Erdoðan to expose the truth on the bombing which killed 34 civilians.
“Is this country governed by the General Staff?”, asked Kýlýçdaroðulu and criticized government authorities for remaining silent on the matter. I have a real difficulty in understanding the administrative mentality of this state, underlined Kýlýçdaroðlu and continued as follows;
“This is an awkward government that has murdered 34 of its people. Amidst all the discussions on the subject, it is only the Prime Minister who doesn’t say anything about the event. Everybody has the right to learn the truth and the reality. The duty of a politician consists of telling the truth, not lies to the people, and making an apology when it is a matter of a mistake... This is an expired government that constitutes a burden to the country now.”
