Demonstrations against the Turkish state’s genocidal attacks against the Kurdish people continue all around Europe.
Activists from Kurdish Revolutionary Youth Movement (Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger) and Free Young Women (Jinên Ciwanên Azad) staged a civil disobedience action in the Paris suburb of Drancy in protest at the fascist Turkish state’s occupation plan against Qandil and the KDP’s collaboration with Turkey in southern Kurdistan, northern Iraq.
The Kurdish activists blocked the traffic on the busiest street of Drancy, displaying banners and chanting slogans condemning Turkey’s genocidal war against the Kurds and praising the struggle of the Kurdish freedom movement.
The group with posters of Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan and flags of the PKK (Kurdistan Workers’ Party) blocked the road and staged a march singing anthems. The group was supported by the passersby with applause.
