Kurdish young female activists from TEKO-JIN and internationalist youth organized an action of civil disobedience at the headquarters of Rheinmetall company, which produces weapons for dictators and repressive regimes in many countries, including Kurdistan.

In the demonstration that started at 07:00 in the morning, young activists continued their action with German slogans inside the building.

The demonstrators emphasized in their statement that Rheinmetall plays a role in war crimes in Kurdistan by selling weapons to the invading Turkey and said they do not accept the sale of weapons to Erdogan’s regime for their own economic interests. The activists further stated that the genocide attacks carried out by the Turkish state in Kurdistan started with the support of Europe and that the war should be ended where it started.

The action organized within the framework of the "Bi Hev Re Serhildan" [Together for Uprising] and the "RiseUp4Rojava" campaigns lasted about 4 hours and ended with the police attacking the group.
