Out of concern for the life of Abdullah Öcalan, activists of the Kurdish youth movement carried out an action of civil disobedience at the Swiss radio and television station SRF in Geneva. The activists marched into the building with flags and chanted for the freedom of the Kurdish mastermind.

In conversation with station officials, the demonstrators explained their request and handed over an information dossier about Öcalan's isolation and the latest rumors about his death. Since there has been no sign of life from Öcalan for almost a year, the activists asked the station to report on this matter. This was also promised to the activists in the conversation, and a corresponding report is to be made in the coming days.
