After HPG (People's Defence Forces) guerrillas intervened in the building of a security road which has been continuing for some time at the Roboski border, the Turkish army launched a mortar attack on the Medya Defence Areas last night.

HPG guerrillas opened fire on a security road being built on the Federal Kurdistan border near the village of Roboski in the Uludere district of Şırnak. After there was mortar fire from the Betonpınar Tank Battalion and the Beyaztepe military post opened fire on the guerrillas, a clash occurred. The clash reportedly continued for 2 hours, after which drones and helicopters carried out flights over the area where the clash took place.
