It has been reported that Iranian military forces have clashed with PJAK guerrillas last night. Four Iranian soldiers have died and four have been injured as a result of the clashes.

It is understood that Iranian forces bombed the area of Dola Kokê, in Kandil, for five hours.

It has been reported that Iran has been getting ready for an operation in the area.

These clashes erupted after the visit, last March, to Teheran by Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdoðan and after PJAK warned that the execution of political prisoners by the Iranian regime would constitute a reason to break the ceasefire.
