Clashes intensify in Idlib

Russian jets continue to bomb the so-called “weapon free zones” of Idlib and Hama as the clashes between the Syrian regime and Turkish gangs rage on unabated on day 13.

Syrian regime forces and Russian jets continue to attack the so-called “weapon free zones” in Idlib. Yesterday Russian jets targeted the Hibet town and the Sher Mixar village where the Turkish state has an observation point.

According to a statement by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), Russian jets have carried out a total of 20 airstrikes in 13 days. SOHR announced that 6 of these attacks were against Sher Mixar to the south of Idlib, 4 against Hibet, 4 against Midan Xezal, and 2 each against Kefir Eyn, Medaya and Haya.

Meanwhile, Syrian jets attacked the Hibet town to the south of Idlib and the Sehriya and Um Zeytune villages with barrel bombs. A total of 58 barrel bombs were deployed against Idlib, Latakia and Hama.

Syrian regime jets also attacked Kebane, Abdin, Shex Mistefa, Um Zeytun, Sehriya, Sermaniye and Sehil El Xab regions with a total of 16 barrel bombs.

On the 13th day of clashes between the regime forces and invading Turkish state allied gangs, violent clashes continue in the Bab Al Taqa region in Sehil El Xab to the southwest of Hama. Regime forces have also fired 135 missiles into the Al Latamina town to the north of Hama.
