Police brutally attacked the thousands of protestors who took to the streets in the neighborhood of Gazi, in Istanbul, late Saturday.

Clashes in the neighborhood lasted till late midnight as protestors responded to police with stones. People in the area built high barricades to prevent the riot control vehicles.
