The upper house of the UK’s Parliament the House of Lords will be hosting a one-day conference to discuss the ideas of Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Ocalan under the title “A Solution to the Crisis in the Middle East: Abdullah Ocalan’s Ideology” on the 20th anniversary of the international conspiracy.

The conference is organized by the Freedom for Ocalan campaign by UK’s trade unions that have millions of members.

TALKING ABOUT OCALAN’S SOLUTION-ORIENTED IDEAS

The organization committee issued a statement and said the conference will discuss the crisis in the Middle East, the Kurdish issue and Ocalan’s ideas and role in the solution to these issues with academics and politicians expert on the issue.

The conference will discuss democratic confederalism, the crisis of the nation state in Turkey, Iran, Iraq and Syria, the Turkish state’s animosity against Kurds in Turkey and Syria and the Imrali torture system.

The conference will be attended by politicians, academics, MP, lawyers and speakers from various countries.

The conference will be hosted by Labour Party’s Lord Maurice Glasman on Friday, February 15 between 09:00 and 17:00.
