The remains of internationalist Tekoşer Piling (Lorenzo Orsetti), who fell in the fight against the so-called "Islamic State" reached Rome today.
The Italian internationalist had joined the resistance in Rojava in 2017 and participated in the defense of Afrin Canton. On March 18, he died in an ISIS ambush in a battle for the last ISIS-occupied area in al-Bagouz as part of the offensive “Cizire Storm”.
Kurds and Italian comrades gathered in the Zona Cargo City of Fiumicino in the Italian capital to accompany the YPG martyr at his home on Friday afternoon.
