Procedures have been completed for 17 suspects who were detained as part of the operation on ISIS cell houses in Amed earlier this week.

The 17 had been detained as police teams targeted the cell houses of ISIS in Amed. Seven suspects had died in the mentioned operation.

While two out of 17 were released following procedures at police station, the other 15 were referred to Diyarbakır Courthouse where they gave their testimonies by the prosecutor. 8 of these were remanded in custody, while 7 were released by a court decision, two of them on conditions of “judicial control”.

Out of the 7 ISIS members killed during the operation, identities of 2 are yet to be verified.
