The release decision about jailed MPs from Labor, Democracy and Freedom Block will apparently be given after the presentation of the prosecution's consideration to the Court.
Eyes are on Diyarbakýr 5th and 6th High Criminal Courts which are examining the cases of Labor, Democracy and Freedom Block MPs Hatip Dicle, Kemal Aktaþ, Ýbrahim Ayhan, Faysal Sarýyýldýz, Gülser Yýldýrým and Selma Irmak who were elected with record votes on June 12, but are still in prison.
The Public Prosecutor's Office will be assessing the lawyers' application to the court concerning the release of all arrested MPs (including Hatip Dicle whose election has not yet been confirmed because of a pending imprisonment sentence handed out to him by Ankara 11th High Criminal Court) on Friday.
The 5th and 6th High Criminal Courts will express their final judgment after the presentation of the prosecution's consideration to the courts.
Speaking about the procedure lawyer Muharrem Þahin pointed out that there is not any anomalous situation in the developments concerning the release of the deputies. Þahin said the followings; "The court will rule after the preparation of the consideration. I do not think that there will be any particular difficulty. Normally, the court can take three days before making the decision and there are no obstacles to the decision-making. Besides, the MPs have to be released after having been elected and given a legal mandate. There is no reason to confirm their detentions."
