Danish parties condemn attack on Maxmur Camp
The Green Red Union and Socialist People's Party in Denmark condemned the attack carried out by the Turkish on Maxmur refugees camp on Wednesday.
The Green Red Union and Socialist People's Party in Denmark condemned the attack carried out by the Turkish on Maxmur refugees camp on Wednesday.
In two separate written statements, the Green Red Union and the Socialist People's Party protested the Turkish state bombing of Maxmur refugees camp.
The statement signed by the Foreign Affairs spokesperson of the Green Red Union, Eva Flyveholm, reminded that 3 civilians died as a result of the attack which - said the statement - was carried out at a time when the whole world is trying to counter the coronavirus outbreak. The statement requested the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to investigate the attack.
Socialist People's Party deputy President, Serdal Benli, said in a statement that the attack against Maxmur was carried out to murder civilians.
Benli underlined that there are refugees living in the camp which is under protection of the UN and called on the United Nation to act and make sure Turkey respect international agreements.
