DBP calls for indefinite protest against ISIS
As ISIS gang attacks on the Canton of Kobanê continue, the DBP (Party of Democratic Regions) has issued a call to all its branches and members to join an indefinite resistance against the ISIS gangs in the spirit and under the slogan of 'Suruç is Kobanê, Kobanê is Suruç.'
A circular stressed that the resistance in Rojava was one of the most important gains of the Kurds, adding: "The Rojava resistance has transcended the borders established by the capitalist states and created a great source of hope and morale in the Middle East. The attacks on the Rojava resistance by ISIS are in fact attacks on the people of the Middle East, first and foremost the Kurdish people. These attacks are targeting our people's insistence on freedom. The states that are supporting ISIS want to destroy our people's resistance. We must mobilise en masse to halt this savagery. The Rojava resistance is our resistance and we must take ownership and responsibility."
The circular mentioned that the resistance in Suruç against ISIS attacks has continued now for 10 days, adding: "In order to strengthen this resistance all our members, administrators, co-mayors and assembly members should participate without delay. We must mobilise all our resources for the resistance in Rojava and organise all our people. We should aim to ensure that hundreds of thousands of people act in the spirit of 'Suruç is Kobanê, Kobanê is Suruç.'
