A truck bomb attack was carried out near the Hadi center with shopping malls and restaurants in the neighborhood of Karada in Iraq’s capital Baghdad on Saturday night.

The number of people that died during the attacks rose to 250, and hundreds of people got injured. Many children died during the attack, which claimed many lives because families were shopping for Eid holiday in the neighborhood. 3 day long national mourning began in the country after the ISIS attack.

Iraqi Ministry of Health announced that the majority of the wounded people have been released from hospital.

Iraqi Minister of Internal Affairs Muhammed Gabban had announced his resignation yesterday because of the attack.
