DEM Party to meet with parties in second round of talks

The co-chairs of the DEM Party are set to meet with the AKP and the MHP in Parliament as well as with other parties after Öcalan's call.

As part of its meetings following the call made by Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan on 27 February, the Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) will engage in a new round of talks with various political parties. Today, Monday, co-chairs Tülay Hatimoğulları and Tuncer Bakırhan will meet with the Labor Party (EMEP) in Parliament. After that, they will visit the Republican People’s Party (CHP) headquarters, followed by a visit to the Democracy and Progress Party (DEVA) headquarters. Again this afternoon, the DEM Party co-chairs will visit the Felicity Party (Saadet) headquarters as well as the Future Party (Gelecek) headquarters.

Next Monday, 17 March, the co-chairs are scheduled to meet with the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) and the Justice and Development Party (AKP) in Parliament.
