Speaking at the Parliamentary Group Meeting on 19 June, Peace and Democracy Party (BDP) Co-Chair Selahattin Demirtaþ renewed the partys call for the ending of further deaths and conflicts.
Underlining that deaths and killings will never offer a solution to the Kurdish problem, Demirtaþ called on Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) movement to end all kinds of armed activities and the government to end military operations in order to give an opportunity for a political solution.
It would push us away from humanity to remain silent in the face of increasing deaths as nine more people have been killed in Daðlýca and nine more mothers have been deeply hurt in their hearts., said Demirtaþ and noted that the responsibility of young peoples deaths belongs to the authorities who follow the way of pressure and violence instead of resolving the conflict through dialogue and negotiation.
There is no choice but to end this war and tears of mothers. We are supposed to defend peace instead of anger and hate, underlined Demirtaþ and called on everybody to pour water in the fire of the conflict.
