Demo against Turkish invasion of Rojava in Stockholm

Protests are ongoing all around the world in protest at Turkish genocidal campaign seeking to invade North and East Syria.

Kurds and their friends joined a demonstration at the Sergelstorg Square in Stockholm where demonstrations against Turkish invasion of North and East Syria have been held at 6 pm every day since the launch of Turkish invasion operation on October 9.

Karvan Said of the Kurdistan National Congress (KNK) spoke here and touched upon the killing of ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi by the US forces with the support of Kurdish forces.

Said pointed out that the relationship between ISIS and the Turkish state needed to be questioned, once again, after it came out that Baghdadi was hiding in a village in Turkey-controlled territory, very close to the Turkish border. He said that the Turkish state and President Tayyip Erdoğan were pursuing an expansionist policy in the Middle East.

Said also called for the Turkish state to be brought to justice for the war crimes and crimes against humanity committed in northern Syria.
