Democratic Forces Union condemns attack against Maxmur

The Democratic Forces Union condemned the attack launched by the Turkish army against Maxmur refugees camp.

The Democratic Forces Union said in a written statement: "All aid has been prevented from reaching Maxmur Camp which has been under embargo for the past 9 months. The Turkish state has attacked Maxmur with armed drones and killed three women refugees named Eyşö Ehmed Ferhan, Ezime Akdoğan and Hawa Akdoğan."

The statement continued: "Contrary to what Turkish president Erdogan says, Maxmur is a place where 12,000 civilians live under the supervision of the UN. The silence of international institutions, especially the UN, means an approval of this massacre. We condemn the silence of international institutions against the attack and urgently call for action."

The European Democratic Forces Union said: "We condemn the Turkish state fascist military attacks once again. While we state that we will not remain silent as revolutionary, democratic and patriotic forces against this fascist understanding that attack Kurds' right to life, we want our people and democratic public to raise their voice against these attacks."
