Democratic Society Academy opened in Tabqa

Democratic Society Academy has been opened in Tabqa and will start with classes on Saturday.

The Democratic Society Academy of Tabqa will start teaching on Saturday after its inauguration on Friday. The co-chairs of the Tabqa Legislative Council, Rewşan Heme and Hamid Ebdulrehman El Ferec, also attended the opening ceremony.

Ferzende Munzir, an official from the Democratic Society Academies in Northern Syria, said that "the occupying and capitalist powers use schools and universities as a tool to enslave people”. Munzir emphasized that democratic academies play an important role in the building of a democratic and moral society based on peace and brotherhood.

Silvia Ebdullah, from the leadership of the Tabqa Democratic Society Academy, said Saturday’s classes will start with the participation of 35 people.
