A month ago began the Turkish genocidal offensive seeking to invade North and East Syria in violation of international law. Once again, demonstrations have taken place in numerous cities in Europe calling for sanctions against the Turkish state to stop the war.
COLOGNE
The Kurdish youth movement (Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger and Jinen Ciwanên Azad) had called for a demonstration in Cologne under the motto "Don't allow invasion - Nehêle!” The protest march was followed by a rally at Heumarkt.
BORDEAUX
A demonstration in Bordeaux was attended by hundreds of Kurds and "yellow jackets". Demonstrators called on peoples to unite.
MARSEILLE
In Marseille Kurds and their friends staged a protest march from the US consulate to the governor's office. The march was followed by a rally where activists called for a no-fly zone in northeastern Syria and international action to stop the Turkish massacres in Rojava.
