GERMANY
BRAUNSCHWEIG
Hundreds from Hanover, Hildesheim, Peine, Salzgitter, Gihfhorn and Braunschweig joined a march to demand freedom for Öcalan in the German city of Braunschweig yesterday afternoon.
The march ended with a rally where representatives from Antifa, NAV-DEM and HDK-E held speeches and condemned the AKP fascism's isolation against the Kurdish leader and protested his exclusion from the current process.
HANAU
Kurds and their supporters also gathered in Hanau for a 'Freedom for Öcalan, Status for Kurdistan' demonstration upon the call of NAV-DEM and YJK-E.
Representatives from NAV-DEM, DİDİF, DGB, Die Linke and German Communist Party (DKP) also joined the demonstration where speakers called for an immediate end to the isolation of Öcalan, called on the democratic and left-wing forces to unite and warned that the Palace dictator Erdoğan was dragging Turkey to a cliff.
BREMEN
In Bremen, Germany thousands of Kurds from Bremen, Hamburg and surrounding cities organized a march and rally to demand an immediate end to the aggravated isolation imposed by the Turkish state on Öcalan in İmralı Island Prison.
Representatives speaking at the rally in front of the Bremen Parliament called on the German state to remove the ban on PKK, and pointed out that there were some 6 thousand people employed by the AKP regime and Turkish intelligence MİT in Germany.
Speakers warned against the provocations attempted by Erdoğan-affiliated gangs in Germany and Europe, and called for precautions to prevent probable assassinations against Kurds.
BERLIN
Another march for Öcalan's freedom was held in the German capital Berlin which police tried to hinder on the grounds of some posters and banners. The demonstration began belatedly due to the police hindrance.
Speaking here, TJK-E representative Nupel Munzur condemned the attitude of German police against Kurdish demonstrators who demand freedom for their leader.
Hundreds also took to the streets and demanded freedom for the Kurdish leader in the cities of Saarbrücken, Stuttgart, Cologne and Lahr.
FRANCE
STRASBOURG
In the French city of Strasbourg, Kurds organized by Jinên Ciwanên Azad and Zin Women's Assembly staged a torch march to call for an end to the aggravated isolation of Öcalan.
Demonstrators, made up of mainly women and youth, protested the AKP/Palace regime that deepens the policy of aggravated isolation against Öcalan and condemned the Turkish state's military and political operations against the Kurdish people as they marched from the central train station to the Place Kléber.
Protestors vowed to spread their actions until Öcalan attains his freedom.
VILLIERS-LE-BEL
Kurdish protestors led by Ciwanên Azad gathered in Villiers-le-Bel near Paris for a march during which demonstrators condemned the isolation of Öcalan, and pledged to enhance the struggle to end the policies of isolation and genocide.
EVRY
Ciwanan Azad members also rallied in the city of Evry to protest the isolation and demand the freedom of Kurdish People's Leader.
Hundreds of Kurdish youths staged a march from the Evry Train Station to the Governor's Office where Fırat Qers on behalf of the demonstrators vowed to continue their actions and struggle against the imperialist and fascist system until Öcalan attains his freedom.
CREIL
Kurds in the city of Creil also staged a march from the central train station to the municipality to highlight their demand for the freedom of the Kurdish leader.
A speaker on behalf of the demonstrators said: "Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan is the only person to offer peace in the country and the world. The freedom of our leader is the freedom of all peoples."
SWEDEN
STOCKHOLM
Kurds in Stockholm, Sweden gathered at the Humlegården Park today and staged a march to the city center with PKK, KCK, KJAR, PYD flags and banners of Öcalan in their hands.
The march was followed by a rally at Norrmalmstorg Square where Ciwanên Azad made a statement to the press, putting emphasis on Öcalan's freedom in order for the democratization of Turkey and re-initiation of peace talks.
Demonstrators demanded an immediate end to the aggravated isolation of Öcalan as well as his access to lawyers and family, and the release of the Kurdish leader who represents millions.
Ayşe Göktepe on behalf of the Democratic Kurdish Society Center of Sweden pointed out the unlawful practices of the AKP government that pursued a policy of genocide against the Kurdish people, staged a coup against the will of people and seized their municipalities, and jailed elected deputies and mayors.
Göktepe stressed that the aggravated isolation of Öcalan, whom millions claim as their will, was unacceptable.
Göktepe also called on the United Nations, European Union and the government of Sweden to adopt a stance against the isolation of the Kurdish leader.
GÄVLE
In Gävle region of Sweden, Kurds gathered at the Storatorget Square to denounce the isolation of the Kurdish leader.
Gävleborg People's Assembly Co-chair Cazya Mare, who spoke after one minute's silence in memory of all the martyrs of revolution, stated that Öcalan's isolation constitutes a violation of international laws and conventions, and called on the CPT to act against this unlawfulness.
Speaking after, Vecdin Batte on behalf of families of martyrs emphasised that masses in four parts of Kurdistan adopted Öcalan's ideology and will continue to reclaim his ideas.
People's Assembly Co-chair Mahmut Nusaybin called on the Kurdish people to step up the struggle in order for 2017 to be the year of Öcalan's freedom.
SWITZERLAND
ZURICH
Kurds in Zurich, Switzerland also joined a demonstration for Öcalan's freedom which was organized by Ciwanên Azad.
Tens of Kurdish youths gathered at Helvetiaplatz Square where they as Ciwanên Azad and Jinen Azad called on everyone to join the struggle in the ranks of humanity.
