Thousands of people took to the streets in Emmerich, Toulouse, Milan and Vienna to protest the Turkish state invasion of Northern and Eastern Syria.
EMMERICH
The attacks carried out by the occupying Turkish state against Rojava were protested in Emmerich, Germany.
The demo was held Emmerich Kleiner Löve street and was organised by Kleve People's Assembly. The march passed through the city center. Activists called on people to join the march in Düsseldorf today.
TOULOUSE
The attacks of the Turkish state were also protested in Toulouse, France.
Hundreds joined the demonstration.
MILAN
The traditionak strike organised every year by the trade union CUB saw one of the marches in Milan. Some five thousand people joined the strike.
The march saw the participation of the Kurdish Committee in Cairoli Square. The Turkish state occupation attacks on Northern and Eastern Syria were condemned.
Speaking on behalf of CUB, Walter Montagnoli said: "Erdogan fascism is attacking Rojava and carrying out massacres against civilians, especially Kurds, and using chemical weapons. We, as the CUB union, stand beside Kurdish people in this dirty war."
Police did not allow the crowd to gathered in front of the Turkish Airlines Offices but a group of people did manage to carry out a civil disobedience action after the march.
VIENNA
In Vienna the protest by the Kurdish people and their friends against the invasion and genocide attacks carried out by the Turkish state continues.
On Friday night people gathered at the Schwedenplatz for a torch march to Votifkirche.
Activists demanded the European countries to set aside economic and political interests with Turkey, and make pressure on Turkey to end the occupation.
