Kurds in Germany are preparing demonstrations in protest against the severe isolation the Turkish state has imposed on Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) Leader Abdullah Öcalan since 27 July 2011. Demonstrators will condemn AKP governments increasing suppression against the Kurdish people.
The demonstrations on 28 July are expected to be joined by a large number of people especially in the cities of Düsseldorf, Berlin, Frankfurt, Hamburg and Stuttgart.
Kurdish associations and Peoples Assemblies, the organizers of the demonstrations at the first anniversary of the beginning of Öcalans isolation, have released a statement to call on all Kurdish people, their friends and immigrant groups in Germany to join the demonstrations against the AKP government and its fascistic impositions. Demonstrators will also protest the police terror in Democratic Resistance for Freedom rally in Diyarbakýr on 14 July.
Protest demos on 28 July will be staged at different hours in the cities of Düsseldorf, Berlin, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Stuttgart,Kiel, Hannover, Kassel, Bremen and Magdeburg.
